iCare Study Details

Details
  • The iCARE study will compare two asthma treatments proven to decrease severe asthma attacks or asthma exacerbations.
  • One way is called MART (Maintenance And Reliever Therapy) in which you use the same inhaler that has 2 medicines for daily maintenance and as needed for rescue.
  • The other is called PARTICS (Patient Activated Reliever Triggered Inhaled CorticoSteroids) in which you use an inhaled corticosteroid inhaler, each time you use your current rescue inhaler.
